The Emporia High boys and girls track teams finished in 3rd place at the Lansing Invitational Friday.
Emporia High had 3 first place finishes: Treyson True won the 3200 meter run. Rafael Vasquez won the 110 hurdles and Beth Schwerdtfeger took first in the long jump.
Treyson True also finished 3rd in the 1600 meter run.
Rafael Vasquez also finished 3rd in the 300 hurdles. Matthew East finished 2nd in the 110 and 300 hurdles.
Beth Schwerdtfeger also had a 2nd place finish in the triple jump and 100 hurdles.
Alexis Daives placed 2nd in both the 200 and 400 meter dashes.
Colton Bieker placed 2nd in the 200 meter dash.
Hannah Cooper finished 2nd in high jump. Isaac Huber placed 2nd in pole vault. Taylor Milleson placed 2nd in the shot put and Mya Tovar was 2nd in the javelin.
The boys 4 x 400 relay team of Matthew East, Isaac Huber, Rafael Vasquez and Colton Bieker finished in 2nd place.
The boys 4 x 200 relay team of Colton Bieker, Wilber Landaverde, Bryan Orellana and Zachary Jackson finished in 2nd place.
Kali McCullough placed 3rd in the high jump. Hattie Walker placed 3rd in the pole vault. Spencer Stewart placed 3rd in the pole vault. Taylor Thomas placed 3rd in the discus. The girls 4 x 400 relay team of Hattie Cooper, Rylie Williams, Macey Adams and Alexis Davies finished in 3rd place.
