The Emporia High girls swim and dive team finished in 5th place at the Olathe South Senior Night meet Monday.
Diver Haylee Weiss finished in first place. Karalyn Karjala finished in 3rd place.
Kelsey Boettcher finished in 2nd place in the 200 free. The 200 free relay team of Ashlyn Alingh, Emily Leihsing, Kelsey Boettcher and Hailey Williams finished in 3rd place with a state consideration time. The same 4 swimmers finished in 4th place in the 400 free relay with a state consideration time. Ashlyn Alingh finished in 5th place in the 100 butterfly with a state consideration time.
