Two former Emporia State Athletes, Michelle Stueve-Corpening and Melissa Stevens, will be inducted into the MIAA Hall of Fame in June.
Michelle is the MIAAs womens basketball all time leading scorer with 2403 points and 4th in rebounding. She is 1 of 3 all time players to have scored over 2000 points and have over 1000 rebounds in a career. She was a 3 time WBCA 1st time All-American and was tthe MIAA MVP her senior year.
Melissa was a pitcher for the Emporia State softball team 2003-2006. She is the MIAA leader for Career wins 103, only pitcher in conference history with 100 wins. She is also the career strikeout leader with 1034 strikeouts. As a senior she was a 1st team All-American and the MIAA pitcher of the year.
