The Emporia High softball team swept a doubleheader from Topeka Seaman Monday.
The Lady Spartans won the first game 16-4 in 5 innings. Mya Chapman was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI.
Brynn Riley was the winning pitcher.
Emporia High walked off with a 6-4 win in 8 innings in the 2nd game. Paige Thomas hit a 2 run home run to win the game.
It was the 2nd home run of the game for Thomas. Payten Redeker hit a game tying home run in the 7th inning. The Emporia High Softball team is now 4-0 to start the season. They play at Highland Park Thursday.
