One woman was taken to Newman Regional Health with reported injuries following a two-vehicle collision in north Emporia.
Emergency crews were called out to the intersection of West 9th Ave and Neosho street for a reported injury accident shortly before 5:30 pm Monday. According to Emporia Police on scene a southbound 2002 Chrysler Town and Country van ran a stop sign and t-boned a westbound 1993 Pontiac Bonneville.
The driver of the Chrysler van was unharmed, however, the driver of the Pontiac was complaining of neck and leg pains and was taken to Newman Regional Health for observation. Neither vehicle had any other passengers inside at the time.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the accident.
