Texas Tech upset West Regional number 1 seed Gonzaga 75-69.
South regional number 1 seed Virginia out scored Purdue 80-75 in overtime.
Sunday two more regional championship games will be played. In the Midwest Regional, being played in Kansas City, Auburn plays Kentucky. In the East Regional final Duke plays Michigan State.
In the NCAA Division II mens Championship game Northwest Missouri State finished the season undefeated with a National Championship after out scoring Point Loma 64-58.
