4 more teams were eliminated from the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Thursday night.
In the west regional-
Gonzaga defeated Florida State 72-58. They will play Texas Tech for a spot in the final 4. Texas Tech outscored Michigan 63-44.
In the South regional:
Purdue outscored Tennessee 99-94. They will play number 1 seed Virginia for a final 4 spot. Virginia defeated Oregon 53-49.
The Midwest Regional semi-finals will be played Friday night in Kansas City with North Carolina playing Auburn in the first game. Followed by Kentucky playing Houston.
In the East regional in Washington D.C. – LSU plays Michigan State in the first game. Duke plays Virginia Tech in the late game.
In the Division II semi-finals, Northwest Missouri State defeated St. Anselm 76-53. They will play Point Loma in the Championship game Saturday. Point Loma eliminated Southern Indiana 81-71.
The women’s championship game will be played Friday night with Southwestern Oklahoma State playing Lubbock Christian.
