Lyon and surrounding counties are under a wind advisory through early evening.
Area counties are covered until 7 pm with wind gusts expected as high as 45 mph.
The very high fire danger, in place since around noon, continues as a result until the wind subsides. The National Weather Service anticipates travel issues for high-profile vehicles as well as problems keeping loose outdoor objects in place.
