A Butler County woman suffered apparently serious injuries after a crash in Chase County on Tuesday.
The Kansas Turnpike Authority says 19-year-old Victoria Wolff of Augusta was northbound and had recently passed the Matfield Green service exit when the crash happened around 10 am. Wolff’s car drifted onto the right shoulder, almost to the point of going into a ditch. She overcorrected, swerving to the left and hitting the center barrier wall head-on.
Wolff was not wearing her seatbelt when the crash happened.
Wolff was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for treatment. Her condition has not been released.
