A month after Max’s BP convenience store in downtown Emporia was robbed, Emporia Police are still searching for the suspect.
Officers have said a currently unidentified black male went inside the convenience store Feb. 19 and demanded cash from the clerk, saying he had a gun. According to police, the clerk handed an unlisted amount of money to the suspect, who then fled on foot.
The suspect’s name has not been released.
