The Flint Hills Community Health Center Board of Directors is planning for two meetings Tuesday, while the Newman Regional Health Board of Trustees has a single meeting later in the week.
As part of the board’s annual meeting, members will be appointed or reappointed and the slate of officers will be approved. Other business includes approval of services and sites as well as hours of operation.
For the monthly meeting, the board will receive reports on finances and risk management as well as clinic reports from the medical, dental and psychiatry departments. Discussion on bilingual pay options and service animal policy will also be featured.
The annual meeting starts at noon at the Health Center’s Havenhill Conference Room, with the monthly meeting starting around 12:30 pm.
Meanwhile, the Newman Regional Health Board of Trustees is meeting Wednesday.
The hospital’s foundation will provide its annual report. Other reports, including monthly finances, operations and quality are also planned. A strategic planning update is on the agenda as well.
The meeting starts at 12:15 pm at the Newman Conference Center.
