USD 252 Superintendent Dr. Mike Argabright has been named as President-elect for the Kansas School Superintendents Association.
The KSSA is an organization dedicated to the growth, development and general encouragement of the Kansas school system.
Argabright says he is honored to have been selected for the position. He says one of the major benefits of serving as president is the ability to network with fellow superintendents from across the state.
A graduate of Wichita State University, Argabright came to USD 252 in 2006 after 16 years in the Eureka School District. Argabright earned his Doctorate of Education from WSU in 2014.
According to Argabright, his role will span over the next three years in which time he will fill three separate roles. This includes President-Elect, his current position, then President and lastly past President, a role which will next be filled by current KSSA President Justin Henry of Goddard.
An official date for when Argabright will assume the position of KSSA President is pending.
