The Emporia High Softball team opens their season today. They will be hosting Wamego at the Trusler Sports Complex with first pitch set for 4pm.
Coach Troy Chapman returns 5 starters from last years team and is excited to get the season started.
The Returning starters are Mya Chapman, Drew Davis, Peyten Redeker, Paige Thomas and Brynn Riley. The Lady Spartans were 13-9 last season.
