The United Way of the Flint Hills will be announcing their long-awaited fundraising total Wednesday during the annual Campaign Celebration.
The Celebration is being held at ESU’s Memorial Union beginning at 11:45am. During a recent KVOE Newsmaker, Drive Chair Vicki Brooks said she was happy with the total. In addition to announcing the final number, the United Way will also hand out awards, including Community Partner of the Year.
Also being announced will be: Business Partner of the Year– whose nominees include ESB Financial; the Emporia Chamber of Commerce; and Navrats Office Products; Workplace Coordinator of the Year; the Spirit Award; and the inductee into the Community Builder Hall of Fame.
