The USD 251 North Lyon County Board of Education is having its regular meeting this coming Wednesday evening.
Some major points being brought up during the meeting include the possible listing of the former Reading school building for auction. This building was built around the 1870s and had been a school until the district closed it down last year due to budget issues. The district and town have been working on potential uses for the building since last year’s decision.
The board will also get an update on the Gemini education redesign effort. Lastly, the board may approve a contract with HTK Architects for North Lyon County Elementary and Junior High and Northern Heights High School.
The meeting will be held in the Board Meeting Room in Americus at 7 pm.
