Tuesday is re-vote day in Eureka.
Voters and USD 389 patrons are heading back to polling places in Eureka and Severy as the Eureka School District awaits word on its bond request for a new activity center at Eureka Junior-Senior High. Voters approved the $7.5 million bond in January, with almost 59 percent of the nearly 800 votes in favor. However, the legal notice was not correct so the election had to be voided.
The prior activity center was destroyed by an EF-3 tornado last June.
Polling places are at the Matt Samuels Community Building and Severy United Methodist Church.
