The Emporia State baseball team out scored Central Oklahoma 10-1 Saturday.
The Hornets scored 2 runs in the first inning on a wild pitch and a bases loaded hit bats man.
They added a run in the 3rd on a wild pitch. A run in the 7th on a Connor Hurst single.
The Hornets scored 6 runs in the 9th inning. 3 runs scored thanks to errors. 1 run scored on a wild pitch and Aaron Dees drove in 2 runs with a double. Jake Barton was the winning pitcher going 7 innings giving up 1 run on 3 hits with 5 strikeouts.
The Hornets and Bronchos close out the 3 game series Sunday Afternoon.
