The Lyon County Extension Office is hosting a ‘Grow Your Garden’ Series starting in a month.
The Lyon County Master Gardeners will serve as instructors for the series conducting hands-on workshops and going over several gardening tips and techniques. The series will be split into two parts and Lyon County Horticulturalist Travis Carmichael goes over the coming classes.
The Extension Office is also implementing a hotline for individuals who have lawn and garden questions. This will be first available in April on every Tuesday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The number for the hotline is (620) 341-3220.
The cost to participate is $25 for each class, and RSVPs are requested no later than one week prior to the class. For more information or to enter any of the Grow Your Garden Series workshops, call the Extention Office or email Carmichael at trcarmic@ksu.edu.
