Discussions of purchases, renovations and a number of bid approvals will highlight the Lyon County Commission’s weekly action session Thursday.Â
During the meeting, Connie Cahoone and Lucas Moody will discuss purchasing and renovating a new building on behalf of SOS Inc., as well as talk about the capital campaign. In other business, Bruce Boettcher of BG Consultants will seek approval on certain fees for facility updates to the jail, involving a water tank and generator.
Also, Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods will ask for approval on two bids, and Amy Welsh, Director of Noxious Weeds will request approval on the 2020 management plan and a bid for a 2019 F250 single cab truck.
Five executive sessions are also planned.
The meeting will begin at 8:00 am on Thursday inside the Lyon County Courthouse.
