Sentencing is coming Wednesday for a man accused of drug distribution in two separate but related cases.
Ethan Cole Peterson has been facing separate court proceedings for drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement in one case from August and meth distribution, marijuana possession, Psilocybin possession and drug paraphernalia usage in a second case from July. Peterson pleaded no contest to meth possession and battery on law enforcement in the August case and meth distribution in the July case.
Authorities say the investigation into the July case led to the August set of charges after a chase from Emporia to Hartford on Aug. 3.
Sentencing will be at 10 am in Lyon County District Court for both cases.
