The Kansas Corporation Commission says residential Kansas Gas customers will still get a one-time bill credit after a KCC order earlier this week. It just won’t be quite as big as first announced.
On Monday, the KCC announced Kansas Gas had to return $17.9 million to customers, leading to a one-time credit of $22.78. The KCC now says Kansas Gas now has to return $16.6 million, or a one-time credit of $21.06 payment to residential customers.
The KCC says the adjustment reflects a new rate structure for Kansas Gas customers that went into effect Feb. 6.
