Area High School basketball teams advance to sub-state semi-finals.
2-A boys sub-state:
The Northern Heights boys defeated Goessel 62-33. They will play Mission Valley in the semi-finals Thursday at Marion. Mission Valley defeated Herington 66-14.
The Lyndon boys out scored Pleasanton 43-23. They will play Maranatha Academy Thursday at Pleasanton.
3-A girls sub-state:
The Osage City girls out scored Neodesha 48-45. They will play Burlington Thursday at Eureka. Burlington defeated Fredonia 56-15.
St. Marys out scored Council Grove girls 64-48.
