Harveyville residents are encouraged to give their input into Wabaunsee County’s developing comprehensive plan during a meeting Tuesday night.
An open house is set for 7-8 pm at Harveyville City Hall. Residents are encouraged to give their thoughts about the current draft, which gives background information on the county as a whole and its towns before going into goals, strategies and implementation. The plan’s goal is to “encourage effective and necessary development” while ensuring development is both planned well and balanced with the county’s rural areas.
This follows development of Wabaunsee County’s last comprehensive plan, which was rolled out 15 years ago.
