This will be a busy week for the Flint Hills Community Health Center.
Tuesday, the FHCHC Board of Directors will hold its monthly meeting. Board members will receive reports from the finance committee as well as reports from the medical, dental and psychiatry clinics.
The board will also continue discussions on the topic of credentialing for FHCHC staff. The meeting begins at noon inside the Havenhill Conference Room.
Along with Tuesday’s board meeting, FHCHC will also be saying goodbye to a longtime employee. Lynn Bridge, an APRN-C in the Medical Department for the past 15 years is retiring this Thursday.
In a press release, FHCHC CEO Renee Hively says “I have has the pleasure of working alongside Lynn for 15 years.” Hively adds, “She has taken great care of her patients while being 100 percent committed to FHCHC.”
According to Hively, during her 15 years as a medical provider with the Health Center Bridge also served as the health center’s Medical Director for four years. The public is invited to attend a “come-and-go” reception in Bridge’s honor. Community members can stop in to wish her a happy retirement — and enjoy refreshments — in the Jones Conference Room from 1 to 3 pm.
