Power was out for roughly 90 minutes in central and southern Coffey County on Saturday evening.
The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office says the outage affected places like Burlington and Gridley. Westar Energy says over 1,000 residents may have been impacted.
A cause has not been determined, but Westar says high winds were underway when the outage happened.
