Lyon County deputies say one person was hurt as part of a single-car crash outside Reading on Monday.
The crash happened in the 2400 block of Road V, less than a half-mile south of Kansas Highway 170 and about four miles west of Reading. Early indications are the car’s driver was northbound and left the gravel road for currently unknown reasons, going off the road to the left side and striking a wooden fence post before coming to a stop.
The victim was taken to Newman Regional Health. His name has not been released and there is no word on the severity of his injuries.
