The Emporia State womens and mens basketball teams host Northeastern State Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Hornets take a 7 game winning streak into the contest with tip-off at 1:30p. Coach Toby Wynn says the cannot take Northeastern State lightly.
The Emporia State men look to take another step up in the MIAA standings. They have gone 3-3 in their last 6 games. Coach Craig Doty says the players have accepted their roles.

The Kansas Jayhawks host West Virginia. The Jayhawks are tied for 2nd place in the Big-12 standings with Texas Tech and a game and game and half back of Kansas State. Tip-off is set for 3pm. Coverage on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM begins at 1:30p.
Kansas State will look to tighten their hold on first place in the Big-12 when they host Iowa State. The Wildcats won the first meeting between the two teams and will be going for the regular season sweep. Tip-off is set for 3pm in Manhattan. Coverage on Country 101.7FM begins at 2pm.
