The USD 253 Board of Education will have several bids to consider as it pertains to future safety and security upgrades to district facilities during their regularly scheduled board meeting Wednesday.
After the board rejected an overall bid at its meeting last month, they decided to restart the process with a focus on individual project components as opposed to a single, all-encompassing bid. Only one potential bidder had submitted paperwork, and the proposed bid was nearly double the district’s estimate.
Board members will also review results from the district’s 2018 climate survey.
Two executive sessions are also planned. The meeting begins at 6 pm inside the Mary Herbert Education Center.
