One woman was arrested after a foot chase in east Emporia on Friday.
Police Sgt. Lisa Sage tells KVOE News officers were looking for 19-year-old Karla Abundiz-Correa of Emporia for unspecified misdemeanor warrants in the 1300 block of East on Friday morning. Once she was located, she fled on foot but was apprehended and arrested shortly after the chase started.
Abundiz-Correa was confined at the Lyon County jail afterward. Formal charges are pending.
