Formal charges have been filed against a Lyndon man arrested earlier this month on suspicion of drug distribution and other drug-related activities.
Dakota Lee Jiskra, 24, has been charged with single counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, felony and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp and possession of alprazolam.
Jiskra was arrested Jan. 23 after a year-long investigation by Osage County deputies. He was a multi-sport standout at Lyndon High School and played football at Fort Scott Community College.
Jiskra’s first appearance in Lyndon will be at 10 am Thursday. If convicted and sentenced consecutively, he could face anywhere from 29 months to over eight years in prison and up to 18 months in the Osage County Jail.
