A pair of defendants in separate and unrelated cases were in Lyon County District Court Wednesday afternoon.
According to Lyon County Attorney Marc Goodman, Amanda Alvarado pled to charges of possession of methamphetamine and aggravated endangering a child. Sentencing in her case is set for March 13 at 3 pm.
Alvarado is one of five defendants in a drug distribution case that came to light in September.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Massey is now set for trial in his case to begin Monday. Massey is accused of rape, aggravated criminal sodomy and breach of privacy after allegedly having sex with a person incapable of giving consent and allegedly using an unspecified recording device.
