Court proceedings for one of three suspects in a kidnapping case have been continued to March.
32-year-old Stacy Steen was in Lyon County District Court Monday morning for a motions hearing in her case. Steen’s defense team made a motion before the court to delay further proceedings for currently unknown reasons.
Her case has been continued to March, 25.
Steen faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated battery after one person said he was kidnapped, held, beaten and robbed over a period of several days.
Emporia Police received the crime report in Septemeber.
Co-defendant Will Anderson has a hearing scheduled for Thursday. Another co-defendant, Ivan Murillo is set for a final pretrial hearing at 4 pm March 6.
