This morning, the First Congregational Church played host to a pancake feed brought on from Girl Scout Troop 30025 to help fund a special trip.
This summer trip will last a week and will be to Washington D.C. Troop 30025 is comprised of seven girl scouts whose ages range from 12 to 18 years old.
Each of the girls became involved with Girl Scouts in their own way. Four-year member of the troop, Margarita Alvarez talks about how she gained interest.
All of the girls are excited for the trip to D.C., and while opportunities like this are a benefit to being in Girl Scouts, the members of Troop 30025 know that its what they take away from the experiences that really matter. A longtime member of the troop, Geralynn Tafolla talks explains what being apart of the Girl Scouts has taught her along the way.
Keep up with Girl Scout Troop 30025 for future fundraising and community efforts.
