The Emporia High boys basketball team out scored Topeka Hayden 66-56 Friday night.
Charles Snyder scored a game high 22 points to lead the Spartans. Emporia High led by as many as 13 in the 2nd half. Jace Stewart added 13 points.
The Emporia High boys improve to 9-4 and 4-3 in the Centennial League.
The Emporia High boys are off until next Saturday when they play at Junction City.
