Emporia State University’s annual Martin Luther King Week activities continue.
One of the highlights of the week is taking place Thursday. The annual King Lecture features Dr. Michael Jones of Washington University speaking about “The Man, The Myth, The Legend: Formerly Known as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” Jones’ lecture starts at 6:30 pm at the Memorial Union Skyline Room. It’s free and open to the public.
On Friday, ESU will host a “Lunch On Us” discussion about the civil rights movement. The discussion and free lunch begin at noon at the Memorial Union Blue Key Room.
