The Emporia Recreation Commission Board held its January meeting on Monday with updates to the indoor pool at the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
The Director of the Rec Commission, Tom McEvoy goes over what took place on their first board meeting of 2019.
The Rec Center indoor pool had filtration and heating issues back in early December that was accompanied by a leakage discovery around Christmas.
With the new filtration system in place, that issue, as well as the heating issue was put to rest. McEvoy goes over what’s next in maintaining the indoor pool.
The next monthly meeting will be on Feb. 18th at 5:30 p.m. at the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
