The Kansas Jayhawks overcame a 8 point 2nd half deficit out scoring Iowa State 80-76 Monday night.
Kansas used a 14-0 run to take a lead they would not give up. Dedric Lawson led the way with 29 points and 15 rebounds.
Marcus Garrett added 16 points, Lagerald Vick finished 14 points and Devon Dotson scored 11 points. The Jayhawks are now 16-3 for the season and 5-2 in the Big 12. Saturday they play at Kentucky.
The Kansas Jayhawks have slipped to 9th in the AP mens Basketball poll and 10th in the USAToday Coaches poll.
The top 4 are the same in both polls. Tennessee is first followed by Duke, Virginia and Gonzage. Michigan is ranked 5th in the AP poll. Michigan State is ranked 5th in the Coaches poll.
Texas Tech is ranked 14th in the
AP poll and 13th in the Coaches poll. Iowa State is ranked 24th in the AP poll and 25th in the Coaches poll. Kansas State would be ranked 28th in the AP poll and 27th in the Coaches poll.
