Even though it’s not fair season right now, the Lyon County Fair Board is still hard at work planning ahead.
Several adjustments are coming to the fair’s annual schedule and Ken Duft, the Lyon County Fair Board Chairman overviews the changes.
Along with schedule adjustments, some events may be changing as well. The truck & tractor pull will return as will the demolition derby, but the bull riding and the buck rumbling roll are still up in the air at this time. Also, we may see less big-name events due to several circumstances.
The Fair Board is constantly working through the winter to ensure everything goes smoothly for the coming events. Duft says that little compares to putting this work in and participating on the Board.
