The Emporia High boys basketball team opens play in the Ralph Miller Classic Thursday night.
The 6 and 3 Spartans face 5 and 3 Chanute. Senior Jace Stewart hopes they can pick up where they left off with the win at Manhattan.
Tipoff is set for 8pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM, streamed on-line kvoe.com and KVOE mobile app.
The other first round games have Andover Central playing Leavenworth.
Republic, Missouri plays Field-Kindley-Coffeyville.
Olathe North faces Goddard.
