Another sizeable donation is in place as Flint Hills Technical College continues its Inspiring Wranglers fundraising campaign.
The Trusler Foundation has granted $30,000. A fundraising update is not immediately available, but this pushes the campaign past the halfway point towards a $2.4 million goal.
The Inspiring Wranglers effort is designed to renovate and expand the Hospitality and Culinary Arts lab areas, creating separate baking and culinary labs, dedicated classroom space, a chemistry lab and renovated student commons area. This also lets the program be accredited by the American Culinary Federation so students attain chef status when they receive their associate’s degree.
