17th ranked Houston out scored Wichita State 79-70 Saturday.
The Shockers held a 38-33 lead at halftime but were out scored 46-32 in the 2nd half. Marcus McDuffie scored a game high 22 points to lead Wichita State. Samajae Haynes-Jones added 14 points. The Shockers are now 7-8 overall and 0-3 in the American Conference.
