Purchases and contracts will highlight the Lyon County Commission’s weekly action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners will look at buying vehicles and related equipment for the Sheriff’s Office. Separate purchase requests are planned from the Highway Department, including a $145,000 chip spreader from GW Van Keppel Company and nearly $16,000 in 12-inch casing from Frank Black Pipe and Supply.
In addition, commissioners will consider whether to approve the annual contract with Silverson Security. Insurance premium approvals are also on the agenda along with five executive sessions.
The meeting starts at 8 am in the County Courthouse.
