The Emporia City Commission is set to hold their first study session of 2019 Wednesday morning.
Commissioners have two items on the agenda for their meeting. The first will entail discussion for the ongoing land bank project.
Discussions have been ongoing for over a year on how to repurpose some properties to revitalize certain areas of town. The goal of the land bank is to revitalize what commissioners call the core of Emporia.
The other item will involve an update on all the planned public works projects for the city of Emporia.
The meeting will begin Wednesday at 10 am inside of city conference room 1AB at White Auditorium.
