Temple out scored Wichita State 85-81 in overtime Sunday.
Markis McDuffie scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Shockers. Samajae Haynes-Jones finished with 22 points, Dexter Dennis added 14 points and Isaiah Poor Bear-Chandler scored 12 points. The Shockers fall to 7-7 for the season and 0-2 in the American Athletic Conference. They next play at Houston Saturday night.
