An Emporia teen celebrates her victory for winning on the modeling show, Battle of the Strut.
Emma Palafox (13) has always held the goal of becoming a Hollywood actress. Born and raised in the Emporia community, Palafox hadn’t seen much local opportunity to make it big until she signed on to participate on Kansas City’s first reality show, the Battle of the Strut.
Palafox gives some background on the show and explains how she felt to be a part of it.
Winning the competition meant that Palafox received the grand prize of $10,000, but to her, the experience was what made it worth it all.
With the Battle of the Strut under her belt, Palafox has big plans for the future including moving out to the golden state.
A celebration/farewell party was held for the Palafox family at the Clint Bowyer Community Building on Sunday afternoon. Best of luck to Emma Palafox in accomplishing all of her dreams.
