The Kansas City Chiefs announced their annual team honors Friday.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the recipient of the Derrick Thomas Award and offensive guard Andrew Wylie is this season’s Mack Lee Hill Award winner.
Both awards were determined by Mahomes and Wylie’s teammates.
The Derrick Thomas award goes to the teams MVP.
The Mack Lee Hill Award is presented to the Chiefs’ top rookie or first-year player.
4 Chiefs have been named to the AP All-Pro team.
Patrick Mahomes is the first team quarterback. Travis Kelce is the first team tight end.
Tyreek Hill is the first team flex player and 2nd team receiver. Chris Jones is a 2nd team interior defensive lineman.
