Potential trial settings are now on the docket for one of two defendants in a drug distribution case that came to light in October.
At a pretrial hearing Friday, Judge Jeff Larson set April 1, April 8 and April 29 as trial settings. A final pretrial hearing March 27 will set the actual start date.
Magallanez is charged with marijuana distribution and paraphernalia possession with intent to manufacture, plant or cultivate. The charges also effectively accuse him of violating parole after he pleaded no contest to two counts of aggravated indecent liberties in 2011.
Co-defendant Marquise Richardson faces 13 counts, including cocaine and marijuana distribution. He has a hearing Jan. 25 in that case.
