The Emporia High boys swim team began 2019 with a first place finish in the 4 team Emporia Invitational Thursday.
Joey Winter finished in 1st place in the 200 Individual Medley and in the 100 yard butterfly.
James Murphy had the fastest time in the 200 free.
Lane Wullschleger had the fastest time in the 500 free.
The 200 free relay team of Mason Harmon, James Murphy, Andrew Wendling and Max Piper finished in 1st place.
Diver Reed Slayden also finished in first place.
