Nearly 800 customers were offline this afternoon as four separate power outages occurred.
A downed wire north of Logan at Exchange and Cottonwood was determined to be the cause of the outages as the wire affected the East Street Substation. The outages affected customers within a half mile west of the substation and customers a quarter mile to the north and south.
In total, approximately 796 customers were offline.
Westar crews had power restored to 757 customers just before 2:30 pm. The remaining customers had their power restored by 3:22 pm.
