An Emporia woman charged in connection with a rural burglary in Lyon County last year has pleaded no contest.
Dianna Lee made her plea to an attempted burglary charge during her pretrial hearing Wednesday in Lyon County District Court. Originally, she was one of four defendants charged with burglary of a non-dwelling, theft and criminal trespass after an incident in January 2018. Lee was also originally charged with methamphetamine. The remaining counts were dropped as part of the plea.
Lee had actually pleaded no contest to the burglary charge in July, but she was allowed to withdraw her plea after a misunderstanding on the potential sentence associated with that plea.
Word on a sentencing date is pending.
